Over the last several months I have embraced Google+ as my social network. I have used it as an interactive platform, a soap box to stand on, a means of discovery and a playground that has introduced me to so many incredible ideas and new people. Have you had a similar experience?
If you love interacting on Google+ but wish some of your friends and family would join you, there is probably some hesitation. I spoke with some users on Google+ and they agreed that it would be beneficial to have a literal step-by-step tutorial showing new users how to create an account, join, and navigate the page (mainly +Jo Anne Thomas). They asked, and I am delivering.
In less than 15 minutes, I show people unfamiliar with Google+ (or Google in general) how to log in, start an account, circle new users, share a post and join a hangout. I tried to make the video as easy to understand as possible for users of all abilities. If you like this video, please share it with your friends and family and hopefully they too will join the network that puts community in new media.
Also, if you enjoy these types of posts, please click the Subscribe! button on the right hand column after entering your e-mail address. This will entitle you to a free weekly update of my content which includes tips, tricks and ways to make your life easier online and off as well as business tips for small businesses getting their feet wet in social media. I hope you’ll enjoy!
